Pu is a young woman troubled by bad dreams. Her father, meanwhile, has fallen for Yok, who works in a karaoke bar and is the girlfriend of a mobster. A hitman named Noi is sent to kill the father, and Pu ends up falling in love with Noi. What the father and daughter cannot say to each other is the real vein of the story. The account mixes a gangster plot with dreams and with the noise of the city; threat and comedy often stand in the same scene. Fay Atsawet and Ray MacDonald appear in Pen-Ek Ratanaruang’s first feature; the hundred and three minute Thai production was completed in 1997.
