Gang War in Milan

A man who controls the prostitution business in Milan has been running the city's arrangement by his own rules for years. Then a man arrives from France with the intention of gathering all organised crime in Italy into one hand. The fight between the two of them spreads into the street soon enough. Umberto Lenzi's film is one of the examples of the Italian crime cinema called poliziottesco. It does not clear its protagonist; both sides are in the same business and the only difference is scale. Women appear in the film mostly as objects in these men's calculations, which is typical of the genre in the seventies. The telling is fast, hard and uses the Milan of the period as it was. Antonio Sabàto and Philippe Leroy face each other.
