Godhi Banna Sadharana Mykattu

Venkob Rao is an old man with Alzheimer’s disease. His son Shiva is buried in his career and on edge because his father keeps going missing. One day the father disappears again. Shiva sets out to look for him, with Sahana, his father’s doctor, beside him. As the search goes on, the two of them grow closer. In the meantime Shiva learns there is a side to his father he knew nothing about. What he learns takes the father out of the place where he thought he knew him. The film tells the illness not as a case but as the distance between two generations. The hundred and forty three minutes are given to a single search. Anant Nag and Rakshit Shetty take the leads, with Sruthi Hariharan also in the cast. Hemanth M. Rao’s Indian film was completed in 2016.
