When Tschick, new to the class, turns up at the door with a stolen Lada, the two of them head out into eastern Germany. On the way they meet Isa, a homeless girl. Fatih Akin directed, from Wolfgang Herrndorf's 2010 novel Tschick. Tristan Göbel plays Maik, Anand Batbileg plays Tschick and Mercedes Müller plays Isa. Lago Film produced and StudioCanal distributed. The trip ends in a crash. Tschick runs to avoid being placed in an orphanage; Maik gets community service.
