What Gramophone Is About
Sachidanandan lives in Kochi. He keeps an antique shop on the city’s Jew Street. The shop is known for its old gramophone records. But Sachi does not care for music. The reason is his father. The man gave his life to music and got nothing out of it. That is how Sachi sees it. Meanwhile a visitor arrives in the city. She is a well-known singer called Aryadevi. She comes from Bombay with her daughter Pooja. Jennifer is also in Sachi’s circle. Jennifer has given him her heart long since. But Sachi counts her only as a friend. Her family has another road in mind for her. Dileep, Meera Jasmine and Navya Nair take the leads in Kamal’s Malayalam film of 2003.
