For fourteen year old Adam, the poor Roma village he lives in holds two joys: boxing and Julka, a friend of his own age. After his father dies by violence he meets the harsher side of life; his mother marries again and his stepfather demands obedience without trying to deserve respect. As everything he was attached to slowly falls apart, the one thing that keeps him from losing his way is his dead father appearing to him. The inexperience of youth, loneliness and impulsiveness keep him from acting with reason, and at times he turns even on those standing by him. In the end he finds himself in a situation with only one solution. Jan Mizigar plays the lead in Martin Sulik’s hundred minute Slovak film, completed in 2011.
