Hallo, Taxi

There is a taxi driver in Belgrade. He suspects his wife of seeing another man. When he follows it up he runs into something else. A gang in the city is drugging women and selling them abroad. His wife is on that gang’s list. Rather than go to the police he takes the matter into his own hands. He has a boxing past and knows how to fight. He goes after the gang himself. He goes into the night life of the city. The people he comes up against are well organised. The further it goes the more dangerous it gets. The story is set in the Belgrade of the eighties. It runs between thriller and crime picture. Velimir Živojinović, Gorica Popović and Svetlana Bojković appear in the ninety eight minute film, a Yugoslav production Vlastimir Radovanović finished in 1983.
