Heartstopper Forever

The show's finale as a feature. It went out on Netflix on 17 July 2026, closing three seasons of story at feature length. Alice Oseman, Heartstopper's creator and graphic novelist, wrote it, and Wash Westmoreland directed. Kit Connor and Joe Locke are credited as executive producers for the first time. The cast returns intact: William Gao, Yasmin Finney, Corinna Brown, Kizzy Edgell, Tobie Donovan, Jenny Walser, Rhea Norwood and Leila Khan. Olivia Colman is back as Nick's mother, with Anna Maxwell Martin and Derek Jacobi joining. The subject is not separation itself but the possibility of it. Nick is preparing to leave for university, Charlie is finding his own footing at school, and the prospect of a long-distance relationship turns into doubt on both sides. The film is in no hurry to resolve that doubt. Who it is for: viewers who have followed the series and feel these two characters are owed an ending. Who it is not for: anyone starting here. It assumes all three seasons and reintroduces none of the supporting cast.
