I bambini sanno

Thirty nine children between eight and thirteen sit in front of a camera and answer Walter Veltroni's questions about love, family, God, homosexuality, the crisis. They come from different economic situations, different families, different backgrounds and different states of health; what they share is the question being put to them. Veltroni opens his second film as a director with a line from The Little Prince: grown ups never understand anything by themselves, and children get tired of explaining everything to them every time. The documentary was released on 23 April 2015 and was nominated for David di Donatello and Nastri d'Argento awards. The answers are sometimes funny and often clear enough to be uncomfortable for an adult audience.
