When Hana meets Brona, who swims in icy water through the winter, another world opens in front of her. His swimming team takes her in, and in time she learns not to fear the cold water. What is between her and Brona turns into love as well. The film presents starting again in old age not as a miracle but as a daily process of getting used to something.
