What It's Not Good for a Man to Be Alone Is About
Martín is a solitary man who has closed in on himself. He lives at home with a life size doll and treats it as though it were his wife. He tells nobody about it. One day the order he has built breaks: a woman, her daughter and a pimp come into his life. The woman works in sex work, and the three of them move into Martín’s house. The film does not make fun of the man’s loneliness, and does not hide its dangerous side either. Where loneliness can take a person is the real subject.
