It's Rain and Shine Together

The story takes place on a summer day. The day is the feast of the new bread in Hungary. The date is the twentieth of August. Near Balaton stands the house of a railway worker. The family is expecting guests that day. A relative is coming from Budapest. With him come the head of his office and his family. The host is hoping for something from the visit. The table is laid accordingly. Everyone tries to appear other than they are. As the day goes on the calculations come out. Who owes what to whom becomes clear. The film sets the countryside beside the world of officials. The account is mocking but has the taste of a documentary. Ildikó Pécsi and Erzsi Pásztor appear in the ninety five minute film, a Hungarian production Ferenc András finished in 1977.
