Oscar Svendsen wakes up in a strip club covered in blood with a shotgun in his hands. There are eight bodies around him and the police have their weapons on him. Oscar says he is innocent and starts explaining. It all began when four friends won one point seven million kroner on the football pools. Oscar runs a workshop making Christmas trees, staffed entirely by ex-convicts. When it comes to dividing the money, none of them trusts the others, and it gets out of hand. Magnus Martens directs this Norwegian film, adapted from a story by Jo Nesbø. Eighty-six minutes, with Kyrre Hellum as Oscar. Somewhere between black comedy and crime film; the higher the body count goes, the more debatable it becomes how much of the account is true.
