Jekhane Bhooter Bhoy

The film is made of four separate ghost stories. All four are adapted from Bengali short stories. One is Bhut Bhabishyat by Sharadindu Bandyopadhyay. Three are by Satyajit Ray: Brown Saheber Bari, Anath Babur Bhoy and Lucknow-er Duel. The stories are tied together and a common frame is built around them. Horror runs alongside comedy here. The sections are kept short and each one closes on itself. The tone of the account is nearer to entertaining than to frightening. Events nobody can account for are the shared ground. Sandip Ray directed it. Abir Chatterjee and Saswata Chatterjee take the leads in the Bengali film of 2012.
