Kailashey Kelenkari

Feluda goes after a smuggling operation. Ancient sculpture is what it deals in. Stone figures stripped from temples are being sold abroad. One of the missing pieces is a yakshi head. Feluda takes two people with him. One is his cousin Topshe. The other is a crime novelist who writes under the name Jatayu. The three of them travel from one end of the country to the other. The trail leads them to old caves and temples. The gang they are up against is well organised. Feluda works by observation. He uses deduction rather than force. The film is adapted from the novel of the same name by Satyajit Ray. Ray wrote that novel after seeing the Ellora caves. Sabyasachi Chakraborty and Parambrata Chatterjee appear in the ninety eight minute film, an Indian production Sandip Ray finished in 2007.
