What Joshua Is About
A man named Joshua settles on the edge of Auburn and stirs the curiosity of a sleepy town. Nobody knows who he is or where he came from, yet nobody can shake the feeling they have known him for years. He helps without asking anything in return, puts his hands to work, patches up quarrels, and still some people stay suspicious and keep asking what he is really doing there. Jon Purdy adapted Joseph Girzone’s novel from squarely inside Christian cinema and makes no secret of its purpose. Tony Goldwyn leads, with F. Murray Abraham opposite him.
