Karen Cries on the Bus

Karen has been married for ten years. Through those years she kept the house. She left her own dreams behind. One day she sees it. She sees that the time that passed was her youth. She decides it was a mistake. Then she chooses to separate. She wants to build a life of her own. With her savings she rents a room. The room is in the centre of Bogotá. Then she starts looking for work. But her age and her lack of experience make it hard. Two roads lie in front of her. Either she goes back to what she had or she carries on alone. Ángela Carrizosa and Juan Manuel Diaz Oroztegui take the leads in Gabriel Rojas Vera’s Colombian film of 2011.
