Khadgam

The film is set in Hyderabad. Three separate lives are followed. One is a young man trying to become an actor. One is a driver who loves his work. One is a police officer worn down by the job. All three have been hurt by terrorism. Their paths cross at one point. They go after a man who is trying to get away. They work together to break up his plan. The driver’s own brother is on the other side of it. The film puts that split inside a single family. The three men are deliberately drawn from different faiths. The telling stands on an openly patriotic line. It does not go into the political side of the question. Srikanth and Ravi Teja appear in the hundred and fifty minute film, an Indian production Krishna Vamsi finished in 2002.
