Nobody's Home

Feride’s father dies suddenly. Left in the house are her mother Nurcan and two younger siblings. Feride has to take charge of the family. In time the role sticks to her; she starts behaving as the head of the house in earnest. Her mother Nurcan puts her daughter in the place of the husband she lost. Her brother İlker resents the responsibility going to his sister and pulls away from home. The youngest, Özge, is dealing with a loneliness of her own. After a while Feride makes a decision to get out from under the weight. That decision changes what happens to all of them. Ahu Türkpençe and Lale Başar take the leads in Deniz Akçay’s Turkish film of 2013.
