Lady Time

A woman called Sirkka-Liisa dies. There is nobody left to miss her. Her home goes up for sale. The person who buys it is Elina. Something else comes with the flat, though. All the dead woman’s possessions are still there. Books, photographs, papers. Elina finds it hard to throw them out. A question stays with her. If these go, what is left. So she starts going through them. She tries to make a life out of the photographs. Piece by piece she learns who the woman was. The documentary is about that search itself. Elina Talvensaari describes what she found in the sixty minute documentary, a Finnish production finished in 2020.
