What Min and Bill Is About
Min runs a small hotel down on the waterfront. She raised Nancy, left at her door years ago, as her own child. The girl is a young woman now and Min does not want her staying in this quarter. Meanwhile she and Bill, off the docks, bicker constantly. For Nancy's sake, Min has a hard decision to make. George W. Hill's film brings Marie Dressler and Wallace Beery together. Dressler won the best actress Oscar for the part and, past the age of sixty, became one of the biggest box-office draws in the cinema. The telling cuts comedy and drama harshly into each other. Marjorie Rambeau is also in the cast. The running time is short and the tone is bitter.
