What Mission to Lars Is About
Tom Spicer is a man with Fragile X syndrome who lives in a care home in England. For years he has had one wish: to meet Lars Ulrich, the drummer of Metallica, whose fan he is. His siblings Kate and Will promise to make it happen, and the three of them set off for America. The journey is not easy; Tom’s daily routine is broken, old matters between the siblings come open, and getting backstage turns out not to be as simple as it sounds.
