What Mood of the Day Is About
Bae Soo-jung has been with the same man for ten years; the relationship works and nothing about it excites her any more. On a business trip from Seoul to Busan, Kim Jae-hyun takes the seat beside her on the train. His opening line states his intentions outright, and it annoys her. But when her plans in Busan fall apart she ends up spending the evening with him after all. Within one day both of them arrive somewhere they did not expect. Cho Kyu-jang directs, with Moon Chae-won and Yoo Yeon-seok. Almost all of it happens inside twenty-four hours. Stretching the moment two people meet out into a whole film bends the usual shape of the genre a little.
