What Moss Is About

Ryu Hae-guk hears that his father has died and goes to a remote village for the funeral, where he finds a community that is extremely polite and extremely attentive. Nobody harms him, and nobody wants anything except for him to leave. When he stays and starts asking questions the village's own order comes into view: it is not the state that rules here but one man, and everyone has already paid for that. Kang Woo-suk adapted it from Yoon Tae-ho's webtoon. It runs a hundred and sixty-two minutes and builds its tension out of looks rather than volume.
