Mucho Mucho Amor: The Legend of Walter Mercado, directed by Cristina Costantini and Kareem Tabsch, is a documentary about the famous astrologer, who finished filming six weeks before he died of kidney failure on November 2, 2019, at age 87, just one day after the filmmakers submitted the documentary to Sundance. The directors had shown him only the first 15 to 20 minutes of the finished film weeks before his death; he never saw the complete documentary.
