Não Vai Ter Golpe!

The documentary presents the account a Brazilian movement called the MBL gives of itself. The movement appeared after the elections of 2014. Over the two years that followed it organised street demonstrations for the removal of Dilma Rousseff. Rousseff was removed from office in 2016. The film tells that process in the words of the movement’s founders. Most of those founders had no political background before it. The point of view of the work is openly the movement’s own, and the other side of the events is not what the film is about. It was made with donations and contributions from members. Alexandre Santos and Fred Rauh’s Brazilian documentary of 2019 runs two hours and fourteen minutes.
