Obsession: Radical Islam's War Against the West

The documentary argues that radical Islam is a threat to the West. It sets its case out openly from the start. It uses footage taken from Arab television channels. Examples of hate speech are shown in that footage. Calls for global jihad are brought to the front. The film draws a parallel between Nazi Germany and the present. It discusses the response of the West inside that frame. The account is not a neutral one. It selects its material to support its case. The film was shown at some thirty universities. It then went into very wide distribution. Millions of copies were given away free inside newspapers. That distribution was made before the 2008 election and caused argument. The documentary was also criticised for carrying hostility towards Muslims. The seventy seven minute documentary was directed by Wayne Kopping. It is an American production finished in 2005.
