Mortal World 2

The Mermer family are outlaws now. One of the sons is struggling to get his pregnant wife Begüm used to this new life, while Gazanfer is trying to hold the family together. The same organisation is still against them. When Zafer falls into its hands everything comes apart. Gazanfer asks an old friend for help in reaching him, and the family end up having to plan one last robbery to get their children back. Ali Atay directs this sequel to the 2018 Ölümlü Dünya, with much of the same cast: Ahmet Mümtaz Taylan, Alper Kul, Doğu Demirkol, Feyyaz Yiğit. It keeps the same register, using the shape of a crime film for comedy and leaning on the way this family talks to each other.
