Operation Scorpio

Yu Shu, a young man who wants to draw comics, rescues a girl from a prostitution ring. That act puts him up against the son of the local mob boss, a dangerous killer who fights in the scorpion style. Yu Shu does not know how to fight. He attaches himself to an old kung fu master and starts learning by being beaten. David Lai's film is one of the Hong Kong fight comedies of the nineties. The hero's imagination arrives on screen in comic-book form and mixes with the real fights. Chin Ka-Lok is in the lead, and Lau Kar-leung plays the master, which means one of the genre's greatest choreographers is both acting and arranging the fights. The flexibility of Won Jin, who uses the scorpion style, is the most talked about thing in the film.
