Our Miss Brooks

Connie Brooks teaches English at Madison High School. She is quick with an answer and sharp with a line. She has feelings for Philip Boynton, the biology teacher who has been at the same school a long while. Boynton is shy and the thing never quite moves forward. What occupies Connie is the daily business of the school and this hope of marriage at the same time. The film comes from a television series that ran through the nineteen fifties. Eve Arden played the same part in the series. Robert Rockwell and Gale Gordon are also in the eighty five minute film. Al Lewis’s American film was completed in 1956.
