What Outrage Coda Is About
Five years have passed since the all out war between the Sanno and Hanabishi families. Otomo, the former yakuza boss, now works in South Korea for Mr Chang, a fixer with a reputation for settling things. When the tension between Chang and the Hanabishi rises and Chang’s life is in danger, Otomo goes back to Japan to close the account. Closing the trilogy, Takeshi Kitano keeps the violence as abrupt and as dry as before; nobody here is a hero and everyone is stuck inside a hierarchy. Kitano plays Otomo himself.
