What Coming Soon Is About
Zafer sells pirate DVDs and used to work as an extra on film sets. When his wife threatens to leave, he decides to give up the illegal work, and the exit he comes up with is to gather his old film-business friends and finally make a fantasy project nobody has managed to shoot in decades. The crew is unqualified, there is no money and no equipment. Cem Yılmaz's most melancholy film as a director, and it is really about the people left at the edge of Turkish cinema.
