Perfect Match

The film tells the story of two tennis players. They are Steffi Graf and Andre Agassi. Graf won twenty two grand slam titles. Agassi has eight. Both were among the best known players of their day. But their characters are nothing alike. Graf is a reserved German. Agassi is a spirited American. Nobody expected the two of them to come together. Probably the two of them least of all. The film tells the relationship as fiction. It is not a documentary but a story worked up from a life. Lena Klenke and Toby Sebastian take the leads in the hundred and three minute film. Klenke plays Graf and Sebastian plays Agassi. Florian Gallenberger’s German and American coproduction was finished in 2024.
