Perro Perro

Juan goes to an island for a holiday. He rents a cottage by the river. His girlfriend and their friends are with him. Out in the open country he comes across a man. The man behaves like a dog. He roams about the way a stray animal does. Juan takes him in. He bathes him, feeds him and shows him affection. In time he lets the man into the house and into his bed. His girlfriend is unsettled by the attachment. She warns him against growing too close. The other holidaymakers say the same thing. They tell him to think rationally about it. Juan insists that the stray can join the group. Berger builds the film as an absurd fairy tale. Animal desire turns literal on screen here. Juan Ramos and Germán Flood appear in the one hundred one minute film, an Argentine production Marco Berger finished in 2025.
