Play Me a Love Song

Struja is an unyielding rock musician playing in a band making a demo. He will risk anything to raise the money to record the album, so long as it does not mean giving up what he believes as a musician. But the only way out seems to be playing pop songs at weddings, and the rest of the band, the keyboard player Mario, Deni who sings and plays bass, and Zlajfa the indifferent drummer, try to persuade him to compromise. At first he is firm. Then Anja, the girl he left, tells him she is pregnant, and Struja understands there are larger matters in life than playing at a wedding. Ivan Herceg plays the lead in Goran Kulenovic’s hundred and six minute Croatian film, completed in 2007.
