What Plot 35 Is About

There was a place his family never mentioned: plot thirty five in the French cemetery in Casablanca, where Christine, the elder sister who died at three before he was born, is buried. There was no story about her and not one photograph. Eric Caravaca decided to make the film to fill in the missing images, and instead of chronicling a forgotten life he found what the family had actually gone silent about: his sister's condition and how disability was regarded at the time. Across sixty seven minutes it asks whether silence really erases anything.
