Premier Homme

The documentary tells of the earliest ancestors of humankind. The account follows a single family. That family sets out in search of new places. They go to places they do not know. They learn to adapt to every kind of ground. One day they learn to use fire. That discovery changes everything. They build shelters. They change what is around them to suit their needs. They try to make sense of nature. For what they cannot explain they invent stories. The account rests on recent scientific findings. Nathan Willcocks and Jacobus Claassen appear in the ninety three minute documentary. Frederic Fougea and Jerome Guiot directed it, a German, French, Canadian, American and Chinese coproduction of 2017.
