Prime Minister

This documentary, co-directed by Michelle Walshe and Lindsay Utz, follows the five years of Jacinda Ardern's term as prime minister of New Zealand. That period contained the Christchurch attack, the Whakaari eruption and the pandemic, and the film covers all three. Its most distinctive material is home footage. Ardern's partner Clarke Gayford filmed throughout her time in office, and audio Ardern recorded herself is also used.
