The documentary takes up how propaganda and public relations developed in the United States. What the film argues is this: the prevailing idea of democracy rests on an elitist base. The bond between war, propaganda and class is handled inside that frame. For this the work talks with a number of scholars. Noam Chomsky, Howard Zinn and Michael Parenti are among them. Peter Phillips, John Stauber and Christopher Simpson are among those speaking too. All the interviews were made for the film. The account is openly partisan, and that view is the film’s own. Scott Noble’s American documentary, ninety nine minutes long, was completed in 2010.
