What Pusher III Is About
A Serbian man who has dealt drugs in Copenhagen for years is in treatment for addiction and has to host his daughter's birthday party the same day. That same day a shipment he did not expect arrives. The film centres a man who was a side character in the previous two and shows him no longer able to do the work: older, exhausted, no longer respected. The narrative takes place almost entirely in a kitchen over one day. Nicolas Winding Refn wrote and directed the last film of the trilogy. Zlatko Buric leads. A real warning: the last section contains a long and extremely graphic dismemberment. It is the harshest part of the series, and not having seen the earlier films makes the narrative hard to follow.
