What Radio Flyer Is About

A father tells his sons about his own childhood: the town he and his brother moved to when their mother remarried, and the violence their stepfather directed at the younger boy. With no help arriving from any adult, the older brother Mike arrives at his own solution, which is to turn their toy wagon into an aeroplane and fly his brother out.
