Shadow Billionaire

Larry Hillblom was one of the founders of DHL. The company grew worldwide and Hillblom became a billionaire. He chose to live on Saipan. On the island he kept out of sight. He flew an old seaplane. In 1995 he went up on a routine flight. He never came back. His body was never found. Another picture came out after his death. Women in Southeast Asia came forward saying they had children by him. Most of them were very young and poor. The division of the estate turned into a long case against his business associates and some of the largest law firms in the world, and in the end three hundred and sixty million dollars was paid to four children. Alexis Spraic made the eighty seven minute documentary, an American production finished in 2009.
