What Shadows in the Sun Is About
A young man from a publishing house is sent to a small Italian town to talk Weldon Parish, a celebrated novelist who has not written a word in years, back to his desk. The terms are clear from the start: one of them wants a signature, the other wants to be left alone. Over the following weeks both positions soften, the writer's daughter complicates matters, and the errand turns into something the visitor did not travel for. Harvey Keitel plays the novelist, Joshua Jackson the young man, Claire Forlani the daughter, and Brad Mirman directed.
