Five years after the shared flat in Barcelona, Xavier is approaching thirty. He runs between writing jobs in Paris and London and drifts between his ex Martine, a model and a television writer. Romain Duris plays Xavier, Kelly Reilly plays Wendy, Audrey Tautou plays Martine and Cécile de France plays Isabelle. Cécile de France won the César for Best Supporting Actress at the 2006 ceremony. Rotten Tomatoes sits at 72 percent and Metacritic at 67. On a 10.7 million euro budget it grossed 23.7 million dollars worldwide. Who it is for: people who saw the first film and viewers who like stories about drifting at the edge of thirty. Who it is not for: anyone worn out by Xavier. He is no more honest with anyone here than he was before, and the film does not punish him for it.
