What Simple mortel Is About
A young man does research on ancient languages. One day he starts picking up strange messages on the radio. They come in a language only he knows. What they contain is odd too: he is given one bizarre task after another. For a while he takes it for a joke or a test. Then he understands that he is a pawn in a game between galaxies. What is more, the fate of the Earth rests on what he does. The film carries a science fiction idea inside the shape of a thriller. Philippe Volter and Christophe Bourseiller appear in Pierre Jolivet’s French film of 1990, eighty five minutes long.
