What Slayers Gorgeous Is About
The wandering sorceresses Lina Inverse and Naga are having lunch when the whole town takes cover: Marlene Culvert is attacking with an army of dragons. The cause is not a great war but an argument with her father about her allowance. Lina takes the father’s side and Naga the daughter’s, which puts the two sorceresses against each other, and Lina’s never-failing Dragon Slave spell does not work this time. Hiroshi Watanabe directed, from a screenplay by Hajime Kanzaka, who created the series. It is the fourth Slayers film and the last anime set before the main series. Toei released it on 1 August 1998 and it runs sixty-four minutes.
