What Somewhere Else Tomorrow Is About
Daniel Rintz travels the world by motorcycle for two and a half years and records the journey himself. On the road he has to cross the borders of war zones, repair a failing engine and earn money in order to keep going; in one place he takes a job, in another he sells something, in another he stays with people he has just met. The documentary describes these necessities rather than showing scenery, and treats the journey not as a holiday but as work that has to be kept up. Daniel Rintz’s hundred and six minute German documentary was completed in 2014 and moves forward through the accounts of the people he meets along the way.
