Sophiiiie!

Sophie is twenty years old. One evening she leaves the house. She has just learned that she is pregnant. There are many questions in her head. She does not know whether she wants the child. Nor is she sure about her relationship. Even who the father is remains unclear. She wanders the city all night. She runs into people she knows and strangers. Each encounter points a different way. Towards morning she comes to a decision. But the film does not end there. Katharina Schüttler and Alexander Beyer take the leads, with Robert Stadlober also in the cast, in Michael Hofmann’s German film of 2003.
