Spring Wind - The Awakening

Tamás Yvan Topolánszky's 2026 Hungarian documentary watches a political movement come into being from the inside. Péter Magyar is at its centre, and the crew travelled with him for more than a year. The documentary gives rallies and campaign stops together with the back rooms. Moments of decision, arguments and exhaustion are on the record; the narrative does not advertise the movement, but neither does it disturb Magyar's account of it. The access is wide and the camera enters private moments. The opposing view has no place in the film, and it accepts that. Who it's for: viewers of Hungarian politics and campaign documentary. Who it's not for: viewers expecting balanced reporting; the documentary looks from inside one camp.
