What Symmetry Is About
Łukasz, an unemployed geography graduate, is arrested for a robbery he did not commit. He is picked out at an identity parade, his alibi is thin, and when the supposed victim dies a few hours later the situation becomes hopeless. Inside, he has to find a place for himself in a world whose rules match nothing outside it. Konrad Niewolski treats the prison hierarchy not as a thriller device but as a language that has to be learned. The violence is direct and continuous.
